Apple lowered iPhone shipment

It doesn't seems like a good starting year from Apple.  The MacBook Air which makes the stock price dropping.  Then now, Apple is projecting shipments of iPhones is dropping from 2 million to 1-1.2 million units for the coming Quarter in 2008. 

Because of lacking the 3G connectivity, the iPhone is not selling well in Europe as expected.  This pushed Apple to lower their forecast of the upcoming month.  Just for your information, Apple shipped more than 2.3 million iPhones in the first quarter.  The total sales for iPhone is close to 4 millio ...

Macworld 2008 - Officially Over

MacWorld 2008 is officially over.  This is my first year at Macworld and it was "kind of" excited.  The full name of the Macworld is "Macworld conference and Expo".  I think it is soooo different than CES.

What I see:

Of course, Steve Jobs keynotes on the first day.  Everybody is expecting a new phone is going to be announced this time.  However, we've got nothing.  What we have this time is a MacBook Air.  The thinnest laptop.  But pricing??  $1800 !!!

It's been a year Steve Jobs announce the iPhone.  The MacWorld 2008 is only 1 day away.  I am able to make my trip to San Francisco this year and go into the event.  After the busy trip of CES 2008 last week in Las Vegas, I was able to go back home a take a weekend off and now, I'm in San Francisco for the Macworld 2008.

It's been a successful year for Blackberry in 2007.  They have released the Blackberry 8800 series, Curve series, Pearl series and Pearl 2 series.  For this year 2008, I visited the Blackberry booth during the CES show in Las Vegas.  Unfortunately, there is no blackberry devices are on the official roadmap yet.  However, they are going to release 2 newly colored Pearl 2 soon.

News: HTC Tilt update - Bluetooth Fix

According from some other websites and confirmed on the HTC support site, there is a new batch file for HTC Touch, HTC TyTN II and the S710.  The file is an update fix for the Bluetooth.  Report telling us that some users may experience a drop call while the Bluetooth is on and this is the solution for it.  So for, for myself, I did not have any issue with the Bluetooth dropping calls.
