HTC Touch 3G smartphone unveiled in Japan

High Tech Computer (HTC) on August 30 in Japan unveiled the 3G-version of its HTC Touch-series smartphone. The HTC Touch HT1100 (known previously by the codename Nike) will be launched in cooperation with NTT DoCoMo in the spring of 2008.

HTC chose to introduce the HT1100 in Japan first to demonstrate its commitment to the development of the smartphone market in Japan, said the company. HTC also noted that it has launched three smartphones for the Japanese market in 2007.

Rumor: Google Phone coming in 2 weeks?

Palm Treo 750/750v gets WM6 upgrade in Europe

Finally, everyone has been waiting has arrived.  The Treo 750/750v finally got the official Windows Mobile 6 update.  As of today, the WM6 update will only be available in Europe for Vodafone at this time.  If you have a Treo 750 from AT&T, you will need to pay little bit more patience. 

The new OS gives you the following improvements.

• Improved Calendar management with enhanced User Interface
• Enhanced E-mail messaging, HTML/Smart Filtering, SharePoint access and more
• Voice command via Bluetooth

HTC Kaiser Announced in Europe

HTC has announced their New Kaiser avaiable in Europe this morning.  Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile (Europe) and O2 are going to get this new Kaiser.  This 3G HSDPA, WiFi and A-GPS device is going to be a successor as it is going to replace the Hermes. 

As we have announced before, this Kaiser is going to be available in AT&T and expecting to be in Sept.  I believe people are dying to wait for this Kaiser to be released.

ASUS M530W Smartphone

Asus is going to release a new smartphone in Sept in Asia.  The new smartphone will look alike a Blackberry 8300.  However, this new Smartphone is running Windows Smartphone OS.  Also, this is a 3G phone with an integrated front VGA camera.  More details will come in the upcoming weeks.

Official Sprint branded Palm Centro

We have see the Palm Treo series for 4+ years.  We first know the Palm Treo from 180, 270 to now 680, 750, 755.  Palm is going to release a new series other than Treo.  It is called Centro. Earlier this month, there are rumors on a blurry picture showing the Palm Centro in white color with Vodafone logo on it.  Right now, MyTreo.net shows a clear picture that the Centro is in black color and printed a Sprint logo on it.  We are not sure about the spec at this point, but the target price is set at $99 and will be the cheapest Palm Smartphone.

Hardware unlock the iPhone

As the most recent news about the iPhone, there is a website that has a detail tutorial on how to unlock the iPhone by doing hardware modification.  I'm not sure if this is going to work (and we are not advertising or encouraging any modification).  The website shows a detail procedure on how you going to modify the iPhone manual.  It is going to be interesting to look at.  But, keep it in mind, unlocking the iPhone may cause you a lot of trouble, including your $499 worth of iPhone and possibility of some legal issues.

Moto RAZR V9m at Sprint online store

Motorola is making us busy today by releasing 2 different devices.  After the Verizon Q 9m, here is the Sprint Motorazr2 V9m.  This is a new RAZR that replacing the V3 with a price of $249.99.  What?!?! Same price as the Q 9m??  Which one will you prefer?  Definitely, both Moto are under different cataglories.  We are not going to say too much about this V9m as it is just a regular cell phone.  Take a look from following official Sprint website.
