Have you ever thought about working in a clothing store but the employer not allowing you to wear anything to work?
There is a similar situation but actually happened in HTC. Apparently there is a new policy announced in HTC that saying all employees are not allowed to bring any cell phones to work. These cell phones are not limited to HTC brand, Motorola, Nokia, etc. In other words, you work for one of the most innovative smartphone maker, but you are restricted to bring ANY cell phone to work. According to the company, this policy is created to prevent any stolen Smartphones or any information leak to any outsiders.
This is NOT a "Joke of the Day". It is a real life story. Another innovative idea from one of the most innovative company. Will it be from their HR? or from their Executive? Nobody knows... But this is hilarious.
