As some websites have already talked about the new T-Mobile Smartphone, we have some new information ready. The T-Mobile Shadow is going to be released on Oct 26. Since this is a smartphone and T-Mobile is targeting some young customers and entry level users, the price are great. We saw the price drop for the AT&T Tilt to compare with the old 8525. Also, the $99 Treo Centro from Sprint. Now, we see T-Mobile is offering a competitive pricing for the Shadow too. $249?? No... It is going to be at $199 with 2 years contract. Not bad huh??
The size of the Shadow is very attractive.
Size: 4.05" x 2.05" x 0.6"
Chipset: OMAP 850 200Mhz
Memory Size: 256MB / 128MB
Camera: 2.0MP CMOS (sorry.. no AF)
Battery: 920mAh (Talk time: 7hr / Standby: 175hr)
Connectivity: Bluetooth 2.0 / 802.11b/g
Media: MicroSD
The most unfortunately is that T-Mobile did not integrate the HotSpot@Home on this phone. One of the most impressive features on this phone is the new interface. When you take out this phone, it will not have the traditional smartphone interface, instead, it has a rolling manual for you to select the features you want to start. And the new Roll and Tap D-Pad is another amazing feature of the phone.
More review will be coming soon...
