It's been a year Steve Jobs announce the iPhone. The MacWorld 2008 is only 1 day away. I am able to make my trip to San Francisco this year and go into the event. After the busy trip of CES 2008 last week in Las Vegas, I was able to go back home a take a weekend off and now, I'm in San Francisco for the Macworld 2008.
MacWorld 2008 is held in the Convention Center in San Francisco Downtown. It is a little bit smaller than last year. This year, it only occupies 2 halls, South and West Hall. I talked to the Taxi Driver on my way to the Convention Center and he told me, he was expecting a lot of people coming to town from yesterday. But it is not what he expected. It is estimated to have 40,000 people coming for the MacWorld 2008. I will keep my eyes open see how many people are coming for the rest of the week.

The first thing I notice when I came into the convention center is to see a price list. You won't see this price list during the CES show. Is that Steve Jobs' brilliant business mind? The price list is for the pass for all the conferences. It starts from $49 for the iPhone Supersession to $1895 for the Platnium Pass. However, I do see a lot of people are on the line for the conference pass.

After a brief walk, I realized the main different between the CES show and the Macworld show is that the Macworld has a lot of stages in the show halls. I visited the West Hall and the first I see is the "Click, Shoot, Edit, Share". From its title, you can clear tell it is all about the digital pictures. Including how to take the picture with the camera, Edit the picture on the Mac and Share it with friends. It is all about the Digital Photography Experience.

Little bit inside the West hall, there is a Mac Developer Boulevard. You can also find a Presentation stage in this area.

During the walk around, I saw one of my favorite spots. It is the Blog Spot. Same as the CES show last week, there is a new catagory for the media, which is the "Blogger" catagory. Lucky me that I can join this catagory to see all the new information.
There are a lot of key features and potential big news expected to be released within this week. This includes the revolution Mac Office 2008, the new iPhone ??? iCamera?? iCar?? I will have everything closely monitor and post here. So, stay tune....
