It doesn't seems like a good starting year from Apple. The MacBook Air which makes the stock price dropping. Then now, Apple is projecting shipments of iPhones is dropping from 2 million to 1-1.2 million units for the coming Quarter in 2008.
Because of lacking the 3G connectivity, the iPhone is not selling well in Europe as expected. This pushed Apple to lower their forecast of the upcoming month. Just for your information, Apple shipped more than 2.3 million iPhones in the first quarter. The total sales for iPhone is close to 4 million now.
