If you are a HTC fan, you should know the HTC Touch Cruise. Recently, HTC announced another HTC Cruise to the market, the HTC Cruise P3651. From the appearance, we can clearly tell the difference. The P3651 has more round corners than the original Cruise. Also, it looks more durable with the chrome design. So.. what's new on this P3651??
As reported, the P3651 basically has the spec. as the original Touch Cruise. However, it is a European version, which has a different style.
Let's go over the spec for the HTC Touch Cruise and the P3651 again. It is a 3.6G HSDPA phone equiped with Bluetooth 2.0 and 3.0mega pixel camera. Processor speed at 400Mhz along with 256 / 128MB memory. Don't forget the built-in GPS receiver. It has similar spec as the HTC TyTN II (a.k.a. AT&T Tilt) Although it is a new device, it is not equiped with the latest OS. It is still using the Windows mobile 6.0.

At the front, you will recognize the Round Rotational D-Pad. This is the same keypad style as the original Touch Cruise as well as the T-Mobile Shadow. This could be a trent that HTC is going to stick with for their D-Pad design. Also, the European wireless carrier has offered the video conferencing, you will see the VGA front camera on it.

On the bottom of the P3651, you will find 3 things; 1. a RESET button; 2. 11pin EUSB connector for Audio, Data and Power; 3. Battery door locking switch. We hardly see this battery door switch since the HTC TyTN (a.k.a. AT&T 8525).

People will ask if the new P3651 is released, is the orignal Touch Cruise will be discontinued?? The answer is "NO". HTC will keep both design for different market. But for those of you purchase Smartphone online, you will be able to choose either style. For the US market, there is no word if AT&T is going to pick this up.
